Do you believe in love after death?
With change our only certainty,
We get what we came for
by questioning the infinite mystery.
Take me all the way to heaven.
I may never see you again.
In the wind you’ll hear my whispers,
an expression deeper than life’s end.
Angels can be found in our nightmares.
Traveling alone, lost in the cold.
Hanging on the edge of beauty,
letting go of forces I can’t control.
Paint me a picture of who I am.
Shatter veils of illusion in my mind.
Do temporary dreams last forever?
A Phoenix rises from desire out of time.
Will you understand when you see me?
In a world of double meanings, spot the lies.
Released from temples back to home,
light pierces shadows from your eyes.
Hiding blood drawn when beaten down.
Feel pain to let your spirit fly free.
Once far off, found in an instant.
Our last moment together plants new seeds.
