You’ve always known
you’re destined for something greater.
Each night, you’ve prayed to escape
the prison of habits conditioned in your mind.
You’ve taken responsibility for them,
even if they’re no fault of your own.
You’d take steps forward
in the journey to actualization,
only to stumble once again,
fueling the self-doubt and inner critic.
As your stuck in the criticism of your mind,
you’ve lost sight of the progress
and fruits of abundance you’ve been able to generate.
There were days you prayed
for what you have now.
Look at who you were.
Now look at who you are.
It’s noble to continually improve.
We must always strive for better.
The work is never done.
But at what point will you decide
to put your self-doubt to rest?
The only thing holding you back
from crossing the finish line to your dreams
is not thinking you’re worthy of them.
Look what you’ve already gone through.
If you aren’t worthy by now,
what is it gonna take?
You have to OWN YOU.
Maybe you don’t think you’ve “improved enough.”
Maybe you’re still hurt.
Maybe the road ahead is full of shadows.
Maybe it’s time to let go and accept change.
The only path is radical acceptance.
You are not perfect.
Here in itself lies the beauty.
Hold gratitude for what sits before you now.
You hold the key to your own heart.
Open it and explore the dreams
now waiting for you inside.
This life is a temporary experience,
far too short to hold on.
Let this be your sign to let go
and accept the responsibility of self-love.
Never forget what you once prayed for
and see beauties only in the now.
But don’t stop praying
because there will always be more in store.
