The real spiritual journey will begin with the integration the shadow.
What is this shadow? It is the all of our programmed behavior that is rooted within the subconscious. Often, this is our pains or traumas that we experienced in childhood that became repressed and manifest themselves in our everyday behavior. Carl Jung stated that the shadow will continually meet you in the external world until you make the choice to meet it within yourself.
The spiritual community has been psyoped into believing that meeting God is all about love and light. Certainly, it is important to recognize unconditional love is the core of your being, but the deeper KNOWING of that infinite love only comes when you recognize the shadows that have been blocking you from acknowledging that feeling all along. It is impossible to know infinite love if you are harboring unconscious feelings of lack and unworthiness.
The greatest enemy in your life is never “out there.” It is always within: our own programs, division, and illusions of separateness. Our perception is what directly dictates reality. I know many people who claim to be “awake” but are still living in a fear based victim consciousness. The reason for this is that their unintegrated aspects of the shadow are still driving the bus. When we have dealt with patterns of abuse or gaslighting in the past, it can be easy to recognize when those same patterns are coming to fruition in our institutions and government. It is another thing to have the courage within ourselves to face our own trauma head on.
The current state of mankind, where we find ourselves on the brink full systematic dependency, is a direct manifestation of the collective unconscious’ shadow. We are in a moment where we must wake up, grow up, and show up, as the fate of mankind depends on the actions we take in each moment. There are two roads in front of us. Many have chosen to answer the call of The Hero’s Journey, venturing into the darkness within themselves to come to a deeper understanding of the God within and true liberation, but there are many who are choosing to revert back to the mundane when they encounter the shadowy tribulations that are simply asking them to heal the wounds within their own heart.
Feel it. Heal it. Integrate it. You don’t need to run from yourself any longer.
Shadow work is not for the faint of heart, and I applaud you for taking this next step in your own journey. If you’re reading this, chances are you have already engaged in shadow work or are finally ready to take the first steps into doing so. You are not reading these words by accident.
What I do is provide a life map for this hero’s journey and guide you in your process to awakening. In the following formats, I work with you one-on-one to look directly at your shadow and find healing practices for your integration process:
Now is the time to fully embody who it is you were always meant to be. Your own perception is what will directly dictate your external reality. It is time to exit the fear based illusionary matrix and step into a new way of being.
