Our Collective Freeze
Assessing the impact of a manipulated "Freeze Response" on our collective unconscious.
The fight or flight response tends to be dominant in our discourse, but very rarely do I hear people talking about our mind’s natural freeze response.
To freeze is the dominant coping mechanism for much of society and has created a passive numbing in response to stress and pain. When there is no escape, or you can’t fight back, the body retreats inward into a freeze response. Essentially, the brain presses a pause button but remains hyper-vigilant and assessing whether fight or flight can become an option.
I have unconsciously experienced a freeze response throughout much of my life, which led to intense periods of disassociation. This generally develops in people when a child is powerless to trauma. In many cases, a person won’t have any conscious memory of trauma that occurred.
I wrote the following poem in response to my own experiences with freezing and disassociation:
Freeze
I never knew it was you
who left me internally frozen.
Our love became defenseless
but my heart was shielding your message.
A violating presence,
lost within the mind’s own protection.
How can children ever know
to trust doesn’t mean you deserve this?
Will our hope be rekindled
when learning from the stars above?
A light for guiding this life,
renewing internal flames of love.
I should have known it was you
when I had courage to face the truth.
I can’t help but to forgive
purity of the soul still shines through.
When alone in dark winter
the wind’s whispers remind me of you.
We live in a world where we don’t have to just deal with our own trauma, but also the trauma of our ancestors. It only takes three generations of trauma to have it wired into the brain of a newborn. This means that if my ancestors repeatedly experienced abuse, I will have the same symptoms of abuse, such as dissociative responses, even if I’m not the one who has gone through the abuse myself. This is how generational trauma is passed into the subconscious mind
.
Through programs such as the CIA’s MK-Ultra, governments have figured out trauma as the most efficient strategy to rule the masses. This explains why fear-based agendas are continually pushed in the media, leaving the majority of people in a perpetual freeze response to government manufactured traumas.
Our participation in the collective freeze comes down to the extent in which we have healed our own internal traumas. This is why the healing path is one we can all choose to embark on. There are personal, ancestral, and external traumas we have all been exposed to in this lifetime. Without a triggering of our freeze response, there would be no way for governments to rule over us with mental slavery.
Have you looked at how you respond to stressors? Are there deeper feelings of shame or unworthiness driving your decision making? I have asked myself these and many other questions. The work itself is not easy, but it’s the only way to free yourself from the painful programs dominating your subconscious mind.
What is your experience with the freeze response? How have you been able to recognize and work through it? I’d be curious to hear your thoughts, as I believe the majority of people have created an unconscious trauma bond with their own identity.
If we heal ourselves first, we then heal the world. It’s really that simple.
Open your heart, let go of your judgement, and believe in the power of divine healing. You’re right where you need to be.
I recently explored breaking free of trauma-based mind control with Cathy O’Brien, a healed survivor of the CIA’s MK-Ultra program. The conversation sheds light on how to heal trauma and realign with unconditional love.
A powerful comment on this podcast came from TinGypsyTribe on YouTube:
”We are ALL Cathy O'Brien in one way or another, born into this abusive system. Her expanded perspective is just amazing. I Love her so much. This atrocity on Humanity has to stop and it ends with us. I believe this is why we are all here at this time, to shed the Light of Love and Divine Presence into the deep dark abyss. God is Love, Love is here and the perpetrators are done for.”

For most men (and some women), circumcision is step one in trauma-based mind control, learned helplessness, and so on. Think about it.
