Pronoia (n.) - the belief that the universe is conspiring in your favor
How do we make the choice to walk in this world believing that life is working for us?
The basis of our societal conditioning tends to root in paranoia. There is a neuroticism deluding our spirit, leading us to believe the world is conspiring against us. This creates an internal battlefield between heart and mind, leading to a split of wanting to trust but expecting to be let down.
In paranoia, our relationships become dependent attachments as we’re afraid to let go of the love that may have initially sparked the connection. The paradoxical nature of this is that love cannot be controlled, and each attempt to grasp it repels it further away.
Paranoia paints a gloomy picture for the future of man. Even when one has awakened to the realities of a grand conspiracy, paranoia views it as a sign of the end of times. Instead of feeling empowered to be the change, one closes off into the hopelessness of isolation.
Paranoia has allowed our hearts to disconnect from spirit, the animating light for all life. To understand who we are, we must let go of the unchecked neuroticism that the world is a force to be controlled.
When we surrender, we can begin to embody the deeper truths of pronoia.
What if every challenge and hardship is an opportunity to evolve?
What if every heartbreak is a lesson on the true meaning of love?
What if the world wasn’t conspiring against you, but instead is working at every angle to meet the dreams of your heart’s desires?
In order to meet the actualized dreams of your heart, you first have to let go of and unlearn the illusions dominating your perception. This will feel like a death of your old self. It’ll be as if the walls are crashing down around you.
With this coming in layers, the unlearning process comes and goes overtime. With learning an exploration, not a destination, you must be willing to continually go into the depths of your own psyche to shine light upon the darkness.
With darkness serving as a necessary polarity to light, a yin and yang of divine proportions, can you accept the moments of suffering and hardship with the same reverence as you would for beauty and magic?
With the outer world serving as a reflection of your inner state, the world will begin working for you when you begin working for yourself.
It takes courage and responsibility to properly construct a dream. You must first take a hard look at how your own actions have brought you to the current place you’re in now.
Will you look at yourself in the mirror and take radical acceptance for what you see?
Will you see the beauty in your perceived imperfections and understand you’re exactly where you’re meant to be?
The answers will only bring more questions, but don’t let this discourage you from exploration.
We may never truly know how much more we need to unpack and heal within ourselves. We may never fully understand why certain circumstances happen to us or how much longer we have to suffer.
But if you can choose to believe this is working for your highest good, it adds purpose to illuminating a path of light in the darkness.
Something far greater, the most actualized version of you, awaits undiscovered in the shadows of your potential. Look inward and allow the truth to set you free.
