You only need to look at the foundation of a relationship to understand the next steps.
Is this relationship built on growth, working through adversity, and a commitment to helping one another be the best versions of yourselves?
If so, it’s at least worth attempting to come together and find a solution.
Maybe you’ll decide the path of growth no longer aligns.
This is okay.
All things are temporary in their nature.
At least you can say you tried and fought to keep it alive.
This is compared to the situations that have long already died.
What are your true intentions if you attempt to water a foundation built in manipulation?
If you have to work to keep up with appearances and the presentation of your relations, chances are you’ve bypassed the roots of growth and are building on something for show.
Maybe in taking a step back, you can correct this by admitting the lie.
But are you both of you committed to the vulnerability required in seeing the truth?
You can’t force somebody to grow.
Chances are a trauma bond was only meant to awaken the shadowed parts of you.
Accept what you know.
You don’t have to look far for an answer.
The way is within.
To stand in alignment, you’ll be forced to let go of your fear of change.
Don’t accept the cycles keeping your spirit tamed.
You only have one shot at this.
Put your heart on the line and see what stays.
