With the sun you rise.
Another morning where the escape of sleep felt far too short to your liking. You could choose to snooze, but is this the tempo you want to set for yourself?
Holding back tears from your eyes, knowing it’ll be another struggle to get to the end and survive.
Preparation for the ensuing battles, knowing you’ll have to reach into the depths of your soul to prevail. You’ve found yourself in a period of despair. Rock bottoms, a dark night of the soul, is not unfamiliar. Courageously you’ve stood against demons in your past. But what you once thought was over has coming roaring back for what you hope is the final test.
Life is too short to be caught in identification with your hardship. Understanding this too shall pass, you keep your head held high as you prepare yourself for the tyranny that awaits you outside your gates.
The challenge is new, but it rings a tone that’s familiar. Life has given you the chance to see if you’ve truly moved on and are ready to grow. If you slay this dragon, maybe God will finally bless you with the abundance you’ve worked your whole life to know.
How will you respond to the tyranny of today? When you encounter darkness engulfing the heart of another, will you respond with vitriol and deepen the blade of shame? What if you chose to be compassionate? Can you understand they’re hurting because tyranny is all they know as the way?
You will get what you put out. A golden rule permeating throughout all mystic traditions. Your rock bottom is old karma running off, but if you’re not careful, the pits of despair is where you’ll stay.
Tyranny is conquered in one moment, bringing a temporary sensation of serendipity despite there still being an ominous knowing of your situation’s density. A small victory to the shortsighted, but one step further on the mountain of monumental achievement.
Your dreams appear far off, but to your heart they feel as close as the impending night. You return to your journal, where the vision for your life is recorded, a reminder to continue despite the wounds of the present bleeding through as pain’s teachings.
At this point in life, death is no longer to be feared. Even if you slipped into the shallow grave prematurely, at least you could say you stood up for what is right.
Tyranny forces you to battle. To be a lover is to be a fighter.
You never thought this would be your life, but when you choose the path of love, truth will bring you in a direction far out from the traditional path of black and white.
Even if today it’s only a pen and paper hearing the cries of your prayers, one day you’ll be rewarded for having the courage to make a stand.
Never stop because your heart is needed if love is to win the battle against tyranny.
This is far bigger than you, as it has ripples into the unfolding of the story of eternity.
