Together, We Still Pray
Picture me scared of a prison of delusions.
Running from the slaughter of systematic illusions.
A solo fugitive to our psychological warfare.
All I see is misery, I wonder if the Lord cares?
In pursuit of a new story of the truth.
World order closing caskets while corrupting all our youth.
Alone in darkness in need of light’s location.
Searching for strength to survive the global plantation.
Hand in hand, we don’t have to be alone.
As our life flashes and the walls come crashing.
Together, we still pray.
To get away I close my eyes and picture home.
But snatched innocence was all this boy had known.
The pain dominates memories inside my mind.
Sexually traumatized while God just stood idly by.
Eyes still teary for being broken in through pain.
Time for me to die and escape the chains of the insane.
Without hesitation, I walk in the fires to purify my soul.
Is this rebirth? Maybe, but it’ll provide a story of hope.
Hand in hand, we can walk this lonely road.
As the thunder roars and the storm approaches.
Together, we still pray.
Marked for death so who cares if we survive?
I still dream because I know our love has to be alive.
If the Lord still cares he’ll see us through this exploitation.
Divine intervention, a force more powerful than any nation.
Our hearts hurt but with strength we can break free.
Withstanding nightmares through the curse we’re blessed to see.
What happens when karma comes for these devilish temptations?
We’re only dead when forgotten, so we can avoid final extermination.
Hand in hand, we sing songs of the new gospel.
As the Lord speaks and we enter into the rapture.
Together, we still pray.
