Truth Beneath the Surface
If you run from the reality beneath the surface, you’ll only find yourself lost in a hall of mirrors.
There’s never an escape from the truth inside.
So why even try to hide?
We live in a society of indoctrination of acquiescence to control. Every aspect of our lives is occupied from external sources with the intent to disconnect us from our awareness to free will.
The idea of surrender, a general trust in oneself and opposition to the societal game, is a sure way to lose the comfort of your sanity.
Acknowledge pain? Embrace heartbreak? Confront mortality? Daunting propositions in itself, let alone when already faced with a society keeping you in perpetual fight or flight existence.
But if you run from the reality beneath the surface, you’ll only find yourself lost in a hall of mirrors.
Everywhere you go, there you will be.
The mind plays a funny game. It’s unlikely any of us will even be fully aware of the depths of this game. Whatever lives within you will always be mirrored back in the external world.
Carl Jung put it best: “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will rule your life and you will call it Fate.”
How does one make themselves aware of something unconscious? The paradox is simultaneously disconnection from illusions and connection to your heart.
Observe your reality. What are your circumstances? Can you notice the small details? Hold reverence for the beauty. Acknowledge what may invoke fear.
Simply tuning out the external simulation of an artificial society will let you see the truth of any matter, as your heart will finally be given room to speak.
Change will be constant in your life, regardless of if you choose to be the conscious driver of it or not. You may as well accept the responsibility of moving forward as a pillar of heart-centered change.
What is it you TRULY want? Beyond the surface level desires lives a deeper why.
I’ve found the root of desire generally comes back to a yearning for connection and love.
Let go of what no longer serves you and let flow in what is now meant for you.
You don’t need to continue perpetuating broken records of the past. You can write your own song. But you first must be present, here and now.
